ACPM dues support over $500 in scholarships per year for our members. Our Scholarship Committee is working on ways to increase both funding and the scope of this financial aid. ACPM dues supports the quarterly publication of a newsletter which keep member updated on diocesan and national opportunities. You will also be kept up to date on national and regional trends and concerns. ACPM dues support our annual business luncheon and memorial gifts to recognize deceased members. Members of ACPM receive discounted registration for the NPCD national convocation. Because of our strong ties with NPCD, we have always had a voting member on their Executive Committee. this keeps our voice on the national level, keeping our concerns visible and audible.
ACPM GIFT MEMBERSHIP I. Purpose: to expand membership in ACPM to catechetical leaders who lack financial resources. These leaders can be full or part time, salaried, stipend, or volunteer. To help these leaders grow in their vision as catechetical leaders in our local church through our organization. II. Eligibility: A. Is a catechetical leader in charge of a catechetical program that has several catechists under his/her leadership. B. The catechetical leader has a specific job description that is a catechetical ministry to adults, youth or children with an average of 10 volunteer hours a week. III. ACPM Membership Gift fee will be paid for: A. A full-time catechetical leader in a resource poor parish with no funds for professional membership and a salary below the diocesan board. B.a part-time catechetical leader on a stipend from a resource poor parish with no parish funds for professional membership. C. A volunteer catechetical leader form a resource poor parish receiving no parish stipend or income. D. Scholarships for Continuing Education in Ministry: Members who desire continuing education in ministry may apply for a scholarship. Three scholarships are awarded annually: two for $250 and one for $75. The criteria for scholarship application are:
