Treasury / Membership

Given by Lucille. She has received dues from19 members. Some discussion took place about the possibility of billing parishes for membership dues. Mary Jo suggested that the discussion be taken up at another time.

The beginning balance on 5/1/04 was $1,151.32. Ending balance on 9/29/04 was $1,269.08.

Discussed the amount for a donation for Bishop Fiorenza’s Burse. Considering the ending balance and anticipating future collections, ACPM will donate $100. Cindy will mail a card with the check.

CCE

Anne spoke of the lack of momentum for the Loyola “LIMEX” Masters program. The CCE Office will continue to work toward offering it in the diocese.

She will be attending a meeting in Chicago with Bishop Gregory and members of NCCL and NCEA to discuss whether or not the two should be separate organizations.

She asked for our prayers for her family as she faces another occurrence of breast cancer. The prognosis looks very good. She will be out for about three weeks, and working from home.

Mary Jo’s term as President will end March 17. Names of possible candidates were suggested for the next term: Margaret McDermott and Nanette Coons. All were asked to think of other possibilities to be considered.

There will be a Festival for Whole Community Catechesis, Thursday, April 21, presented by Harcourt Publishers. There will be no cost to attend. Meal provided. Target audience: Pastors, Staff members, Board Members, etc
